Intro to Botanical Drawing - JAN 2013

Join Academy of Botanical Art Founder for an introduction to the history and process of botanical art and illustration that has been used for centuries.  Ms. Braida will provide demonstration materials for the drawing process involved in this art form and even instruct in a few of the secret techniques used by the botanical art masters of the French Court period. Beginners are welcome to try Ms. Braida's "Ten Step" Technique for learning to draw and advanced students are welcome to bring their botanical art in for critique and development. Artists or enthusiasts are welcome to join in and gain new insights into this beautiful and technically demanding art form.  Handouts and drawing materials will be supplied. A $20 materials fee will be collected by instructor at class.
