Learn how to capture memories quickly in the medium of your choice along with tips on capturing the essence of a place by simplifying complex subjects, composition, values and color mixing. Demonstrations will be followed by individual attention, as students work on location in the Gardens. Small scale works will be produced which can stand alone or be further developed into larger paintings. As in the manner of Chagall, participants may wish to experiment with combining images from their studies with memories from their own background in this two-part series.
