International Botanical Intern Update

Please join us for a presentation by our international interns, Katya Soler and Rodolfo Flores.  
Katya was just accepted into the PhD program at the Yucatan Center for Scientific Study. She is currently studying Hechtia, a beautiful genus of bromeliads that is found in northern Central America and Mexico.
Rodolfo is working towards his Master’s degree from Panama’s Universidad Autónoma de Chiriquí (UNACHI). Selby Garden’s Director of Botany, Bruce Holst is serving as an advisor for his project to study an interesting group of the myrtle family, genus Eugenia
