Tour: Economic & Medicinal Uses of Tropical Trees 12.9.12

Join tour guide and 20 year Selby Garden member, Hart Richardson for a fun and informative tour of Selby Gardens focused on the plants found at Selby that have economic and medicinal uses.

Mr. Richardson is a pharmacist with a long time interest in medicinal drugs derived from plants.  Some of the plants highlighted on the tour include the angel trumpet, saw palmetto, pandanus, neem, gumbo limbo, Indian willow and eucalyptus. (Rainbow Eucalyptus seen at right.)   

This tour begins at 1:30 pm, lasts between 45 minutes to 1 hour, and is free with regular Garden's admission.
