Little Sprouts
Little Sprouts' Club - (Preschoolers)
“All my life through, the new sights of Nature made me rejoice like a child.” - Marie Curie
Children are born with an insatiable curiosity about their world and a yearning to explore and experience its wonders. Selby Gardens gives children a wonderful opportunity to nurture that natural inquisitiveness with Little Sprouts; a fun, interactive program for preschoolers and their caregivers. Hundreds of families participate in this delightful program designed to stimulate young imaginations, engage curiosity, and encourage early development of a lifelong love and respect for nature. The Little Sprouts Program is a family-friendly way to enjoy the beauty of the Gardens.
Little Sprouts' Club: Tree Huggers
Turn your Little Sprout into a bona fide tree hugger. Enjoy a morning in the Gardens while learning about nature through free play and hands-on exploration. This year’s sessions are about celebrating the great outdoors through nature-based crafts, games and activities. From homemade modeling clay to mud pies, your little sprout will delight in spending quality time with you outside. Sessions include story-time, lawn games, nature themed arts & crafts and a snack.
On the first Tuesday of each month, from 10:30 – 11:30am, Little Spouts’ Club will meet under the banyans. This program is designed for children 5 and under, does not require reservations, is rain or shine and is free with adult admission and to members.
