DESCRIPTION:Experience Selby Gardens’ famous Orchid Show by capturing the artistic essence of orchids using rare, and rarely seen, greenhouse collection specimens as living models!\nStudents will learn how to capture the intricacies of orchids using pastels and other specialized art materials. Referencing living plants as models, learn to practice introductory pastel techniques, ranging from blending to texturing, and much more. Students will have a completed art piece to take home with them at the conclusion of the workshop. Open to all ages/experience levels.
