DESCRIPTION:Explore Sarasota County’s only Butterfly House through an artistic lens. Enjoy a brief natural history lecture introducing Florida’s native butterflies: why and how they are unique, their role in the ecosystem, and conservation strategies. The lecture will be followed by instruction in painting techniques that capture the beauty of butterflies, flowers, and nature. Open to all ages/skill levels. General admission is included in the course fee.
