DESCRIPTION:This workshop’s syllaBUZZ will have you saying, “show me the HONEY!”\nExperience the world of bees through the lens of a beekeeper, the science of the insect, and their relationship with flowers and fruit. Learn the importance of a honeybee’s job in their ecosystem, the domestication process, their conservation status, and how we can keep their populations stable for future generations. As an added bonus, there will be a honey tasting at the end of the course!\nGeneral admission is included in the course fee. Warning: different types of sample hives will be brought as demonstration props. This class takes place indoors.
