SUMMARY:Tabletop Tillandsia Tree Workshop
DESCRIPTION:If you have always admired the Bromeliad Tree at Selby Gardens, here’s your chance to create your own miniature version! Using beautiful living tillandsias (air plants) our horticulturists will guide you as you create a piece of horticultural art that will complement anyone’s holiday decor. You will take home a finished piece to deck your own halls or to give as a holiday party host gift! This workshop is suitable for all skill levels. Affixing the plants to the framework requires manual dexterity/ fine motor ability.  \nClass Fee\n\n$65 Members\n$75 Non-Members\n\n \nThings to Know\n\n\n\nChildren aged 12+ with a demonstrated interest in plants welcome. \n\n\nGeneral admission is included in the course fee. We encourage you to stay and enjoy the Gardens after class. \n\n\nAll horticultural materials and tools for this workshop are included in the tuition.  \n\n\nYou will be working with live plants, wire, and hand tools- feel free to bring a favorite pair of gardening gloves if you have them. \n\n\nPlease check in at the Welcome Center at 10:15 a.m. for a 10:30 a.m. start time. \n\n \n\n \n
