DESCRIPTION:Did you receive an orchid as a gift, and now it’s outgrowing its pot? Perhaps you’re not sure where to begin with repotting an orchid that doesn’t even have a pot anymore... Whatever your circumstances, never fear! Orchids are Selby Gardens’ horticultural specialty, and we’re happy to help! BYO orchid to this hands-on workshop and learn how to repot and continue care for orchids of all kinds with personalized guidance from our horticulturists. This workshop is suitable for all skill levels. Please bring an orchid you can hand-carry easily. Selby staff reserve the right to refuse orchids requiring more time and materials than are available in this workshop. \nClass Fee\n\n$45 Members\n$55 Non-Members\n\n \nThings to Know\n\nChildren aged 12+ with a demonstrated interest in plants welcome. \n\n\nGeneral admission is included in the course fee. We encourage you to stay and enjoy the Gardens after class. \n\n\nAll horticultural materials and tools for this workshop are included in the tuition.  \n\n\nYou will be working with live plants, soil, and garden tools- feel free to bring a favorite pair of gardening gloves if you have them. \n\n\nPlease check in at the Welcome Center at 10:15 a.m. for a 10:30 a.m. start time. \n\n
