DESCRIPTION:Series Dates: January 8, 15 & 22 – 10:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.\n\nClass Fee for the 3-class series: \n$125 members/ $145 non-members\nDrop-ins for individual class dates $45 members/ $55 non-members  (available at the Welcome Center if space is available)\n\n\nInstructor: Maggie Bosco\n\n\n\nBecome more in tune with your surroundings at Selby Gardens by learning how to paint from live observation using either oils or acrylics, your choice! Each week you will explore a new scene in the Gardens to admire and paint. Students will learn how to determine the overall qualities of light, color, space, and form of a scene and how to translate these qualities to their painting quickly and productively. These workshops are suitable for intermediate to advanced students. Register for one class, or a full series! Want to develop your skills before signing up for a series? Check out our Intro to Painting en Plein Air classes!\n\n\n\nThings to know\n\n\n\nGeneral admission is included in the course fee. We encourage you to stay and enjoy the Gardens after class.\n\n\nAll materials and supplies for this workshop are included in the tuition.\n\n\nYou will be painting outdoors. Please bring water and any items you will need to be comfortable in a shaded outdoor setting.\n\n\nPlease check in at the Welcome Center at 10 a.m. for a 10:15 a.m. start time.\n\n\n\n
