DESCRIPTION:In this workshop, we explore two mediums in one. Ink, used here to stamp our own handmade or ready-made rubber stamps, with the addition of watercolors! Start your composition with an abstract watercolor design on beautiful, deckled-edge watercolor paper. Explore the textures you can create with the paper and various additives. As it dries, carve your own medium-sized rubber block to create a printed pattern motif. No prior experience needed in either medium!\n\n\nGeneral admission is included in the course fee. We encourage you to come early or stay and enjoy the Gardens after class.\n\n\nAll materials and supplies for this workshop are included in the tuition.\n\n\nYou may be working both indoors and outdoors. Please bring water and any items you will need to be comfortable in an outdoor setting.\n\n\n
