Downtown Sarasota campus
A variety of accommodations for visitors are available at the Downtown Sarasota campus.
Wheelchairs
Complimentary wheelchairs are available in the Welcome Center on a first-come, first-served basis but cannot be reserved. All buildings on the campus are wheelchair accessible.
Parking
There are designated accessible parking spaces in the parking areas, and guests may drop off and pick up members of their parties directly outside of the Welcome Center.
Service Animals
Selby Gardens does not allow pets at the Downtown Sarasota campus. Service animals providing assistance for visitors are permitted in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Please note that pets whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the Americans Disabilities Act (ADA).
Pathways. Primary paths around the gardens are paved; however, there are several unpaved areas.
Personal Care Attendants (PCA)
Selby Gardens offers complimentary general admission to PCAs who are accompaning guests with disabilities during their visit.
Audio Tours
The Gardens’ Audio Tour is accessible by cell phone
Sensory Headphones and Maps
Complimentary sensory headphones and maps are available for use. Please inquire with our Guest Relations team.
Website Accessibility
The team at Selby Gardens endeavors to maintain a website that is accessible to all. To that end, we have implemented an accessibility tab in the upper-right corner of our website. Highlights of the feature include controls over font sizes, contrasts, image color, link highlighting, animation removal, and more.
