Butterfly Illustration Workshop – Hosted by the “Academy of Botanical Art”

Come learn the art of butterfly painting from celebrity artist Olivia Braida, and let your inspiration be tomorrow’s masterpiece!  

During this special, one-day workshop, students will receive a special tutorial on creating beautiful, yet scientifically accurate paintings. The models for this course will include a scientifically documented butterfly collection, the butterfly-flower connection, and other pollinator-inspired nature themes.  

Included in this class is a personalized drawing package, scientific illustration lecture, drawing tutorials, and an actual butterfly for reference material.  

Students will have a completed art piece to take home at the conclusion of the workshop. Open to all ages/experience levels. This workshop is off-site, and does not take place at Selby Gardens’ campus.
