Pen and ink was historically a popular medium for illustrators in the days before printing technology. It is still the medium in use today for scientific publications. Join us for this one day workshop and learn the techniques that help make this art form so beautiful including the use of the quill pen and nibs.  Waterproof inks work beautifully with color. So if you want to bring your watercolor paints, or colored pencils, we can combine both mediums for a day of beauty.  Students are welcome to bring drawings previously completed, or copies of antique botanicals, or artworks, we can translate into ink. Please see the required materials list HERE.
