Integrate the natural beauty of Selby Gardens into your discovery of two serene and often linked ancient Japanese disciplines, Sumi-e and Haiku. Applying the Japanese philosophy of “less is more,” learn how to express the emotion of your subject by complementing traditional ink painting brush strokes with lyrical Haiku poetry. Please bring water container, paper towels, pencil and pen, and any favorite brushes or supplies. All levels welcome.
