House plants not looking so hot? Here’s the 411 for your plant 911!
In this workshop, students will learn how to spot pests on their plants, and the difference between signs of pests vs. general plant health issues. This course will provide students with the know-how to treat and prevent infestations with a variety of methods depending on plant species, pest species, severity, and much more. All horticultural supplies are provided for the demos. Students take home the house plants prepared in class. Perfect for hobbyists! Open to all ages/skill levels.
All materials for this horticulture class are covered in the tuition. General admission is included in the course fee. You will be working with live plants, wire, soil, and gardening tools; feel free to bring a favorite pair of gardening gloves, hand pruners, and/or safety glasses.
