“Spooky” Fun at Selby Gardens Oct. 30

SARASOTA, FLA. – October 1, 2016: Marie Selby Botanical Gardens will host its annual Halloween celebration, “Spooktacular” from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., Sun., Oct. 30.

This playful, family-friendly event is open to the public, as well as Selby Gardens’ Members. The daytime activities will include traditional, wholesome Halloween happenings like trick or treating and pumpkin decorating, fun and educational activities like seed planting, as well as more frightening (but not too scary) options for older children like a mad scientist experiment center.

Guests are encouraged to come in costume. All visitors will enjoy “Trick or Treating” along with a family photo booth, face painting, an obstacle course and more fun at this all-inclusive event.

More than 2,000 people attended the 2015 event.

Admission is free to Selby Gardens Members ($10 reciprocal members); Guests: $20 Adults, $10 Children, 4-17 and free for children younger than four.
