Updates on Coronavirus Impacts

The well-being and safety of our members, guests, volunteers, and staff are of the utmost importance to Marie Selby Botanical Gardens.

Based on guidance released by the State of Florida’s Department of Health on February 24, 2022, the choice of wearing a facial covering indoors at either our Downtown Sarasota or Historic Spanish Point campus is up to individual guests. We encourage guests who feel most comfortable wearing a face mask to continue to do so when visiting Selby Gardens, and we ask all visitors to respect the personal space of others, particularly in our indoor facilities.

As a courtesy, we will continue to provide contactless ticketing at both campuses and regular cleaning and sanitization of all buildings, with special attention to high-touch, high-traffic areas.

If you have tested positive for COVID-19 or were exposed to someone who did, we urge you to follow Florida Department of Health COVID-19 guidance regarding isolation before visiting Selby Gardens.
