Downtown Sarasota Campus
Complimentary parking is available inside our LEAF (Living Energy Access Facility) and is accessible via Mound Street or South Orange Ave.
Allow plenty of time
Please allow a minimum of two hours for your visit or stay as long as you wish. Take a relaxing stroll or spend a morning or afternoon exploring the entire campus. We recommend bringing a camera to capture the beautiful surroundings during your visit.
Dress comfortably
Wear comfortable walking shoes and clothing, as the Gardens are a walking experience. The campus is a combination of sunny and shaded areas; a hat and sunscreen are recommended. Bring a handheld umbrella, particularly during the summer months when afternoon showers are common. Insect repellant and sunglasses are also good to have on hand to help you stay safe and comfortable. Some of these supplies are available for purchase at The Garden Shop should you forget to bring any personal belongings.
Take part in a guided tour
Our docent-led tours are designed to help you explore and discover the plants and nature found at Selby Gardens’ Downtown Sarasota campus. You can also enjoy Selby Gardens by Boat: A Campus-to-Campus Boat-Tour Experience.
Restrooms
Restrooms are available in three locations throughout the Gardens.

The Gardens do not currently have strollers available for guests to utilize. You are welcome to bring a stroller if you have a young child, as there is plenty of ground to cover.
