Exhibition Evening – Sarasota Opera
Enjoy evening access to Selby Gardens’ spring exhibition, George Harrison: A Gardener’s Life, along with a bayfront reception and a special performance by Sarasota Opera.
Exhibition Evenings build a deeper understanding of our spring art exhibition. The event includes a reception with light hors’devours and beverages from Michael’s on East and performance by a leading Sarasota performing arts organization on the terrace or inside of the Selby Gardens Event Center.
Continuing our annual tradition, Sarasota Opera Studio Artists will present an eclectic evening of opera and classical vocal music related to George Harrison’s life and work. The various musical selections and their connection to Harrison will be explained through entertaining and illuminating introductions by stage director, Martha Collins.
