 Growing Cut Flowers in Florida

Welcome to the Growing Cut Flowers Workshop with Mindful Blooms Farm! Join us for a hands-on experience learning how to grow your own cut flowers in harmony with nature and Florida’s climate. Connect with like-minded flower enthusiasts and nature lovers, and earn the process of growing gorgeous flowers from seeding to harvesting bountiful blooms.

In this workshop, you’ll gain in-depth knowledge of what kinds of flowers to grow, and when and how to get started while you sow your own flower seeds to grow at home. You’ll also head home with a variety of other ready-to-grow young flower plants, and a handout with all the instructions, materials, and growing information for your vibrant new cut flower garden!

  • General admission is included in the course fee. We encourage you to stay and enjoy the Gardens after class.
  • All horticultural materials and tools for this workshop are included in the tuition.
  • You will be working with live plants and soil- feel free to bring a favorite pair of gardening gloves if you have them.
  • Please check in at the Welcome Center at 10:15 a.m. for a 10:30 a.m. start time.
