Pollinator Pots: Container Gardens for Butterflies and Bees
Whether you have a big yard or just a balcony you can cultivate a lively and colorful pollinator garden! Join our horticulturist in the outdoor classroom at Historic Spanish Point to learn the principles of small-scale pollinator gardening, and what it takes to keep container gardens thriving. You will create and take home your own mixed container garden featuring pollinator-pleasing plants. Please note: The outdoor workspace is shaded but does not offer seating. Please bring water and any other items you will need to work comfortably outside.

Things to Know
- Children aged 12+ with a demonstrated interest in plants welcome.
- General admission is included in the course fee. We encourage you to stay and enjoy the Gardens after class.
- All horticultural materials and tools for this workshop are included in the tuition.
- You will be working with live plants, soil, and gardening tools- feel free to bring a favorite pair of gardening gloves or hand pruners if you have them.
- Please arrive at the Welcome Center at 10:15 a.m. for a 10:30 a.m. start time
