The How-Tos of Home Orchid Care

Just in time to celebrate the orchids featured in the spring art exhibition, learn how to care for your own orchids! Learn from Selby Gardens’ orchid expert how to keep these precious plants happy, healthy, and in bloom. In this introductory horticulture workshop, participants will be presented with the basics of watering strategies, potting and soil, humidity, temperature, light requirements, and much more!

All flowers and potting supplies are provided for the demos. Students take home the orchids and planting materials prepared in class. Ideal for hobbyists! Open to all ages/skill levels. General admission is included in the course fee.
