
Worm Your Way Out of This! Introduction to Vermiculture
Come get your wiggles out and back into the ground! Just in time to celebrate Spring Break, bring your kids, or kids-at-heart, and get your hands dirty learning how to tend to your backyard creepy-crawlies! Understand the importance of worms, what they do for your gardens, and how to keep them happy. In this hands-on workshop, participants will explore different types of soil, the ideal earthworm habitat and diet, and how to manage, or start, a vermiculture bin.
As an added bonus, all registrants will be able to take worms home with them!
All horticultural supplies are provided for the demos. Ideal for hobbyists, master gardeners, or students! Open to all ages/skill levels. General admission is included in the course fee.
