SARASOTA, FL – June 24, 2021 – Marie Selby Botanical Gardens (Selby Gardens) and the Duncan McClellan Gallery (DMG) in St. Petersburg present the fourth annual summer glass show In Dialogue with Nature: Glass in the Gardens July 10 to September 26, 2020 at Selby Gardens’ Downtown Sarasota campus.
“We are thrilled to welcome Duncan McClellan and his studio artists back to Selby Gardens this summer,” says Selby Gardens’ President & CEO Jennifer Rominiecki. “Viewing glass in a garden setting provides a unique backdrop and provides our visitors with another way to experience the Gardens.”
The exhibition will feature nature-inspired glass work created exclusively by Duncan McClellan which will be displayed in the Tropical Conservatory against a backdrop of lush flowers and plants and in the Koi Pond. The botanically-themed glassworks will be for sale with a significant portion of the proceeds benefiting Selby Gardens’ mission.
“We look forward to collaborating with Selby Gardens and showcasing our work in Sarasota again this year,” says Duncan McClellan, owner of Duncan McClellan Gallery. “Selby Gardens is the perfect location for showcasing our nature-themed works.”
