Boat Tour Connecting its Downtown Sarasota and Historic Spanish Point Campuses Returns on November 22
November 20, 2025 | Sarasota, FL. – Beginning November 22, 2025, and continuing every Saturday* through April 25, 2026, Set Sail with Selby Gardens returns to Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, offering visitors an “Old Florida” way to experience both of its bayfront campuses.
This exciting maritime experience includes roundtrip transportation by boat along the Intracoastal Waterway between the Downtown Sarasota and Historic Spanish Point campuses. The experience includes full access to both campuses and a box lunch by Michael’s on East at Historic Spanish Point.
“Selby Gardens’ two historic and beautiful sites owe much of their evolution to the waterways that define them,” said Jennifer Rominiecki, president and CEO of Marie Selby Botanical Gardens. “Boat access is an integral part of Selby Gardens’ heritage and an important element of our sustainable future. This tour offers guests an immersive experience in native nature, ecology, and regional history.”
The price of the excursion is $150.00 per person, and $135.00 for Selby Gardens members. The price covers the boat trip**, admission to both campuses, and the box lunch. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Dates, tickets, and additional information on Set Sail with Selby Gardens are now available online at www.selby.org
*Set Sail will not take place on February 7 and March 28
**Approximate travel time on water: 90 minutes each way.
NOTE: Ticketed guests should arrive for check-in at the Welcome Center at the Downtown Sarasota campus by 9:45 a.m. Guests will return to the Downtown Sarasota campus boat dock by approximately 3:30 p.m. Guests are welcome to enjoy the Downtown Sarasota campus for the rest of the afternoon until the gardens close at 5:00 p.m.
