Something Magical Is Happening at Our Historic Spanish Point Campus

Enchanted Garden Family Festival, March 26 and 27

Enchanted GardenVisitors will have the opportunity to see Selby Gardens’ Historic Spanish Point campus in a whole new way on March 26 and 27, 2022. During the Enchanted Garden Family Festival, the 30-acre campus will be transformed into a magical place where fairyhouses and even unicorns can be spotted amid the native Florida vegetation and regional history.

Young visitors (and the young at heart) can enjoy fanciful tales told by theater veteran and storyteller Hannah Bagnall, kids’ craft stations and face painting, and performances by a madrigal choir. There’s a secret garden to explore with fairyhouses to find, and food and beverages will be available for purchase from Michael’s on East and other food vendors.

This new event is an expansion of the popular Fairy Festival held at the campus in previous years.

“Visitors have really enjoyed past opportunities to explore our Historic Spanish Point campus in a magical and playful way,” says Jennifer Rominiecki, president and CEO of Selby Gardens. “This year, we’re adding to that experience to create a family-friendly festival that offers even more enchantment for kids of all ages.”

The Enchanted Garden Family Festival takes place March 26 and 27 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is included with general admission to the Historic Spanish Point campus, which is always free for members. Come spend an imaginative day (or two) along Little Sarasota Bay and see what kind of magic you can find!
