The Elixir of Nature – Wood: The Generosity of Trees
Location: Marie Selby Botanical Gardens’ Historic Spanish Point Campus
Class Fee: Members $65.00, Non-Members $80.00
Facilitator: Rachel Schaeffer Wolfe, StoryAlchemy.org
Connection with nature helps us access our life force energy and transform old narratives of self-doubt, criticism, anxiety, and overwhelm. It boosts our mental resilience, helps us recalibrate, and reduces stress.
On the beautiful grounds of Selby Gardens’ Historic Spanish Point Campus, we learn to listen deeply to our inner voice and tune into the voice of the environment. Throughout this 4-week journey, enjoy simple meditation practices designed to train the mind to quiet and focus in nature. Writing exercises, Taoist-inspired guided visualizations, and gentle movement practices allow us to harness our mental energy and experience the transformative power of nature.
Each class is a complete experience with unique benefits, but together they unite powerfully. Register for the whole series or join for individual sessions.
